Elementary Afterschool Programming

Throughout the school year, up to 36 elementary school children attend the Sara Holbrook Center’s Elementary Afterschool Program. During the afterschool hours, our state licensed program provides a safe, supervised place for kids to be kids. Activities include: free-play, homework help, arts and crafts, community outings, cooking and baking, group games both outdoors and indoors, and more! Program hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 2:45-5:30 pm; and Wednesday, 1:45-5:30 pm.

During February school vacation (Feb 24-28, 2020), the program offers extended hours and community outings. Past trips included: rock climbing, bowling, ice-skating, visits to area museums, and swimming.
