Summer Camp

During the summer months, the Center offers six weeks of summer camp. In 2010, the Sara Holbrook Community Center is again collaborating with the Burlington School District and Burlington Parks & Recreation, offering Camp for children entering 1st grade through entering 6th grade; space is limited to a total of 60 children in the afternoon. Camp typically runs in two week sessions, beginning June 28th and ending August 6th.

Camp location is at the Burlington High School on Institute Road. SHCC Staff will notify registered families when transportation details are finalized. There are two Camp options: Full Day Camp (8:15-5:00), or Half Day Camp (12:00-5:00).

After meeting at 12:00 for lunch, the campers spend fun-filled days at area beaches or dive into other community activities like strawberry picking, mini golf or visiting places like the Ethan Allen Homestead. On rainy days, the blues are kept away with indoor activities: arts and crafts, board games, sports, free-play, and group games.
